African Turquoise, Smoky Quartz & Saucer Earrings

African Turquoise is actually a type of Jasper mined in Africa (hence the name). It closely resembles Turquoise in both color and matrix. African Turquoise is typically a bit greener than Turquoise and often exhibits a greater amount of matrix.

The African Turquoise gemstones in these earrings is a soft greenish-blue with brown and black matrixing. The Smoky Quartz is a deep, opaque brown.
