The smooth, puffed-coin shape Bronzite gemstones in these earrings are a lovely chocolate brown color with a submetalic luster. They display the golden flashes, metallic sparkles, and reflective streaks of bronze light (called “schiller”) characteristic of good Bronzite. The beautiful chatoyant effect is caused by the separation of iron into the cleavage and fractures of the mineral.
