Free-form Bronzite gemstone nuggets have been top-drilled giving the necklace a very textural, organic effect. The gemstones stick up, stick out and in general do not lay uniformly in a row. This random arrangement is eye catching and unexpected, but not uncomfortable.
Bronzite is a lovely chocolate brown gemstone with a submetalic luster. The smooth, irregular nuggets exhibit the golden flashes, metallic sparkles, and reflective streaks of bronze light (called “schiller) characteristic of good Bronzite. The beautiful chatoyant effect is caused by the separation of iron into the cleavage and fractures of the mineral.
