Lariat style necklace of smooth, free-form, genuine Iolite oval nuggets is accented with cobalt blue and amethyst purple lead crystals, navy glass pearls and galvanized silver rocailles.
Called "water sapphire" in the past (a name that is now obsolete), Iolite has extreme "pleochroism" properties; it displays different colors when viewed from different positions. When cut properly, Iolite is a lovely violet-blue - as are the smooth, irregular, flat oval nuggets used in this necklace.
This necklace has no clasp. It is long enough to slip right over your head.
