Larimar is a rare gem-quality blue pectolite. Its beautiful sky-blue color with white mottling is said to evoke images of the Caribbean Sea. Formed tens of millions of years ago by underwater volcanic activity, it is found in only one location in the world: one square kilometer of dense rainforest in the Dominican Republic. Pendant has been wire wrapped entirely by hand using all 925 sterling silver wire and is accented with sterling silver beads.
Bail opening is large enough to easily accommodate most chains, cords and beaded necklaces with beads up to 4mm.
