Mookaite Jasper is a rare multi-colored gemstone found beneath the Mooka Creek in Western Australia. The name comes from the Aboriginese word, mooka, which means "running waters." Moukaite’s naturally occurring colors include warm, earthy shades of red, yellow and brown.
Teardrop shaped gemstone has been wire wrapped entirely by hand using all 925 sterling silver wire and is accented with sterling silver beads.
Bail opening is large enough to easily accommodate most chains, cords and beaded necklaces with beads up to 4mm.
