Picture Jasper Gemstone 5-Strand Torsade Necklace

This 5-strand necklace of Picture Jasper gemstone “rice” can be worn loose, or twisted into a torsade. Necklace is finished with Bali sterling silver end caps and a sterling silver lobster clasp with 3” extender chain.

The distinctive brown, tan and cream earth tones of Picture Jasper come from prehistoric mud that dripped into the gas pockets of molten lava. It became superheated and then solidified forming the unusual banded patterns resembling landscapes, mountains and valleys from which Picture Jasper gets its name.
