Genuine Turquoise gemstones team up with handcrafted copper “Bali-style” saucers. Turquoise nuggets are approximately 8mm in size, a deep blue-green turquoise color, and exhibit medium brown-to-black matrixing. The Turquoise stones were purchased in a shop in the Smoky Mountains U.S.A. and appear to be American Turquoise. The nuggets have been tumbled to a lovely smooth finish and have a nice luster. The drops have been wire wrapped using 100% copper wire. All the metal in these earrings is copper with the exception of the earwire itself. I wouldn’t put copper wire in my ears, so I don’t expect you to either. Fishhook style earwires are lightweight, 14k Gold filled with a copper bead embellishment.
